On Tuesday, September 30th, we’re celebrating our annual SPCA Day of Giving—a day dedicated entirely to the animals who need us most. Unlike Giving Tuesday, this is our day, a time when the entire community can come together to ensure that pets in Brevard County and beyond have the chance at a brighter tomorrow.
Why Your Gift Matters
Every day, the SPCA of Brevard answers calls for help—sometimes heartbreaking, sometimes urgent, but always lifesaving.
- Just this month, we stepped in to assist the Brevard County Sheriff’s Department Animal Services in a hoarding case involving more than 50 Maltese and Maltese mixes. Thanks to supporters like you, we welcomed 14 dogs—plus a nursing mother with her puppies—into our care. Some are already finding new homes, and many more will be ready in the weeks ahead.
- Miracle and the parvo puppies came to us on the brink of death. With intensive care, emergency vet visits, and round-the-clock love, Miracle survived a lifesaving blood transfusion and the puppies beat parvo. They’re living proof that second chances are possible when compassion meets action.
- This year alone, our veterinary team has tackled dozens of critical medical cases for cats and kittens: emergency surgeries, diaphragmatic hernia repairs, enucleations, and more.
- We’ve even stepped up to support other rescues, offering discounted vet care so their animals could get the treatment they desperately needed.
